At a Young Americas Foundation conference in Santa Barbara, California, Professor J. Michael Waller gave a seminar to college students on how to combat Islamist extremism on the campuses.
Waller used examples from fighting the Soviets and Soviet front organizations that can be adapted to expose, discredit, document and uproot terrorist support groups at American universities. He specifically cited the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and other groups.
As part of the October 19-21 event, Waller visited Rancho del Cielo, the much-beloved ranch of the late President Ronald Reagan. He toured the ranch with author and Fox News personality Michelle Malkin and other conference speakers.
Libertas, the magazine of Young Americas Foundation, recently profiled Waller and his work. Waller is an alumnus of Young Americas Foundation training schools and other programs. (Click here for PDF of profile: Waller YAF profile)
